Farm lesson 12: sunflowers
Three sunflowers by the fence, 11 by 17 pixels each: a tall stem, big leaves and a round head.
This sprite is wide. It's easier to draw on a computer, or with your phone turned sideways.

This step also removes a few pixels. Use the eraser where the guide fades a pixel out.

Step 1: Lines
The stem, two leaves and the round head.
Step 2: Colors
The greens and the yellow petals.
Step 3: Shading
The darker petals and the brown center.
Step 4: Outline colors
The outline in dark tones of each color.
Step 5: Shadow
A small shadow under the stem.
